We have published two books about trading currencies on Amazon Kindle. When the second book, Forex Power Surge, went live on the Kindle site, the graphics lacked clarity — in fact, it looked awful. Because the charts and figures are critical to understanding our templates and strategies, this needed fixing — fast.
I was happy to quickly find someone who was able to rework the graphics in the manuscript. After he completed his project, I resubmitted the epub file and am able to report that the figures are now much improved.
When this project started, I admit I did not know much at all about the ins-and-outs of Kindle updates. After a bit or research, I discovered that anyone who buys a book on Kindle can adjust their Amazon account settings to AUTOMATICALLY accept new versions of any book they previously purchased. You don’t have to ask or know it happened — and it’s free of charge!
In this video, I show screenshots of how to flip this input switch in your Amazon account. The only reason you might want to be cautious is if you made lots of notes when you read each of your titles. An update would erase those notes. You will need to decide about that issue for yourself. Except for that, I hope the video shows clearly how to proceed with a change to your settings.
